Notice Regarding the Impact of the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake

To all those affected by the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake,

We extend our heartfelt sympathies and sincerely hope for the safety of those in the affected areas, as well as the swift recovery and reconstruction of the communities impacted by the disaster.

We would like to provide the following update on the impact of the earthquake on our Kumamoto R&D Center (Chuo Ward, Kumamoto City) as of 9:00 a.m. on July 29.

・Employee safety: All employees have been confirmed safe.
・Operational impact: No damage affecting operations has been confirmed at the center.
・Building facilities: The building’s elevators are currently out of service.

In light of the above circumstances, we plan to continue remote work until normal building operations are restored. There are no operational constraints associated with working remotely. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and consider how we can provide support where it is needed in the affected areas.

Once again, we sincerely hope that all those affected will be able to return to their normal lives as soon as possible.
