Cloud computing provides a simple way to access servers, storage, databases and a broad set of application services over the Internet rather than a local server or a personal computer.

Data Linkage

Data Linkage is the task of quickly and accurately identifying records corresponding to the same entity from one or more data sources.

The process is “receiving data →parse →convert → send”, and “Transfer Protocol” such as “HTTP”, FTP, SMTP and SOAP” are used for sending/receiving data.

EAI(Enterprise Application Integration)

EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) is an integration of system and application across an enterprise. It connects existing and new systems in an entire organization to enable collaborative operation.

EAI enabler product is called EAI tool. It is a middleware and its primary functions are to adaptor/connector, format conversion, routing and process control.

Today EAI is used not limited to within a single organization. It is used for B2B system linkage such as B2B e-commerce and group business consolidation.

EDI(Electronic Data Interchange)

EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is the computer-to-computer exchange of business data between companies in standard electronic format. EDI documents use specific computer record formats that are based on widely accepted standards.

Purchase orders and invoices were two common uses of EDI, however it is currently used in a variety of businesses in multiple industry.

EDI continues to prove its major business value by lowering costs, improving speed, accuracy and business efficiency, so that it is also used for business management and information strategy.

Middleware is the software layer that lies between the operating system and the applications on each side of a distributed computer network, for example, the software that connects between enterprise systems and user systems or between multiple systems in an organization.

SaaS(Software as a Service)

SaaS( Software as a Service)is a software distribution model in which a third-party provider hosts applications and makes them available to customers over the Internet. Instead of installing and maintaining software, you simply access it via the Internet, freeing yourself from complex software and hardware management. Rather than purchasing software to install, customers subscribe to a SaaS service, generally they pay for this service on a monthly basis.

XML(eXtensible Markup Language)

XML (eXtensible Markup Language) is a markup language defined by a set of rules for encoding documents in a format that is both human-readable and machine-readable. It became a W3C recommendation as early as in February 1998. It is independent from specific OS, application or vendor, and became popular in variety of business uses such as B2B e-commerce, documents storage and other.
